Vintage Chris Craft Circulating Water Pump Overhaul Service, with Sherwood Pumps.  THIS LISTING IS FOR YOUR OLD PUMP OVERHAULED.  Includes: Disassembly, bead blasting, re-painting and assembly.  New Bearing (Sherwood P/N 14055) and Spring-Loaded Mechanical Seal Assembly (Sherwood P/N 10577) installed.  This overhaul service will fit the models I have listed below, maybe others.  You will need to send me your old pump, I will overhaul and send back to you.    NO PARTS OR PUMPS ARE FOR SALE IN THIS LISTING, PHOTOS ARE EXAMPLES ONLY OF PREVIOUS OVERHAULS.

For several years I have been rebuilding water pumps for the older Honda motorcycles and have the equipment an ability to make tooling for this process.   I have overhauled 200+ Honda water pumps to date.

This overhaul service and my kits are for these vintage Chris Craft boat engines, it started with my brothers 67 Chris Craft Constellation with twin 300HP Ford 427 engines, which is for sale in Michigan. I had a visit with him this last summer and he had one that was leaking, so we sent them to me in Arizona.  I have done the research to find parts for the overhaul.  The photos in my listing are of one of his pumps during the overhaul process as well as what it looked like when received.

I have no plans for other older models of Chris Craft pumps but email me if you have something not listed above and I will research to see if I can help you with it.   I am NOT a boat person, so I will not know specific questions about Chris Craft models, engines etc.            

SHIPPING:

ALL overhauled water pumps and kits ship to the lower 48 by USPS priority mail.  Likewise, small parts, NOS, New and even many used parts will also ship for free. 

MISC. ITEMS CATEGORY:

Misc. items are non-Honda related.  Some do have free shipping, and some do not.  The larger items generally do not include shipping. We will work with you on any of these items, please contact us for information.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

Please contact us prior to purchase with your location. The cost of shipping will be the actual cost. No handling or other fees apply.  We are working on our site to include these fees.

SHIPMENT PROCESSING TIME:

Almost all items are shipped within 24 hours, except weekends.  

RETURNS:

Anything we sell can be returned, no problem, but these are our requirements.  Part(s) can not have been installed, damaged or have original packaging missing.  We inspect ALL parts prior to shipping and often take more photos.  We must be able to relist it to sell again to others.  Shipping costs us, so it will be deducted from the refund.  We charge NO restocking fees etc.  We request you be honest about returns and ask questions before your purchase if not positive the part will fit or work for you.  We are always willing to help with part fit and applicability etc.

OVERHAULED WATER PUMPS:

The advantage of having us overhaul your pump, or purchasing an overhauled pump from us, is that we will give you a lifetime warranty.  If the pump ever leaks at the weep hole, we will repair it and ship back to you at no charge.  This does NOT cover the cost of removing the pump, shipping back to us or ANY misc. damage.  Do remember it is up to you to maintain the cooling system in particularly good working order and always use distilled water when mixing with antifreeze.  This warranty is subject to the condition of the returned pump.

WATER PUMP KITS:

The parts of these kits have a warranty and if defects are found before you start your overhaul, we will work with you for sure.  We provide detailed instructions with our kits and if follow very closely you should have no problems.  NOTE: This process does require a hydraulic press as well as an assortment of tools to use with the press.  I usually send instructions just prior to shipping the kit, so if you read them and decide it is not something you want to tackle, let us know before we ship the kit.
